Chocolate and Sugar Confectionery Coupon Card
During the Second World War food and other essential items were rationed to protect their supply. 70% of the sugar consumed by the UK was imported, and it was subject to strict rationing from January 1940.
RAF Form 2732 enabled the bearer to claim for their chocolate and sugar confectionery ration coupon from the Navy, Army and Air Force Institute or NAAFI, a recreation facility found on most military bases. Sugar rationing in the UK did not end until 1953.
