Duplicate Pattern No. 33 Attached to a Sealed Pattern board - On a padded patch cut to shape, an embroidered crown above a circular padded velvet cushion encircled by two rings and embroidered with an eagle. All embroidered in gold wire.

Metal fragment of the 'Red Barons' aeroplane in which he was shot down. The curved section is an anchorage for the bracing wires which were looped through the angles with the ends joined at a single turnbuckle, effectively giving a double wire. Mounted on circular wooden plinth with descriptive plaque.
