Medal Bar of Kenneth Lawson
Wing Commander Lawson won the Distinguished Service Order as both a navigator and as a pilot. He had participated in over 100 operational sorties before his Avro Lancaster was destroyed during an operation to attack Nuremberg on 3 January 1945.
