Japan (Mitsubishi A6M Zero-Sen)

Small brass-rimmed aircraft clock with arabic numbers and Japanese script at centre, originally mounted in alloy aircraft Piston Crown. Clock held in position by four screws; RAF eagle and King's crown above clock in brass. Clock removed from Piston Crown January 2011 and fitted to KI 100 aircraft at RAFM Hendon.

Rolls-Royce Vulture II

Severely damaged wreck salvage item. Originally a left hand tractor drive twenty-four cylinder, 90 degree X-shaped glycol cooled poppet valve aero engine with two speed, single stage supercharger. Crash recovery, corrosion, cracks.

Fishplate from Halifax III HX339

Complete rectangular shaped Halifax spar fishplate with 24 rivet holes and black painted ends. Centre pierced by 20mm cannon shell, the top of which remains in situ.

Winch, (C Class Flying Boat)

Large, silver painted, tubular framed hand operated cable winch for hauling in refuelling hose to the receiving aircraft; carried by C Class flying boat during flight refuelling experiments. Red painted side crank handle operating drum via large red painted chain wheel. Brake pressure gauge mounted on front of unit. Yellow knobbed release lever at front.

Fordson Sussex fitted with a Wild Balloon Winch

Standard 6 x 4 chassis fitted with American style driving cab; balloon winch gear behind this with protective cage for the operator and aft loading platform.

Operations Room Projector

Metal projecting tube with slot for slide towards rear. Detachable bulb mount, without bulb, on one side with length of electrical cable still attached. Shaped wooden handle at rear. Circular cast iron base with four screw holes. Projector movable through vertical and horizontal planes through use of wing nut attachment on top of base.
