Large wood, tin and brass slide projector. Chamfered wooden plinth; square body with square opening hatches on each side of the light housing. Modified for modern electric operation with internal bulb, lead and three pin plug. Main body has tinplate top with ventilation chimney. Leather bellow and brass framed lens focusing mechanism. Double slide mount at front. Base plinth split and chipped; rear of housing shows evidence of missing attachment. Front wooden lens mounting plate split and repaired with fabric tape.

Two piece wooden handle scales fixed two close together large brass rivets and a small oil hole besides one rivet. Odd-shaped pommel with push-button/internal-spring latch. Black leather scabbard with oval "locket" and stapled metal guards to top and bottom.
