Within a blackened wreath of laurel with a bright gold swastika at the base, a winged arrow, point upwards. On either side of the wreath horizontal sprays of silver oak leaves. Horizontal fastening pin on reverse.

Large rectangular black crackle painted instrument with various switches and levers on the face. Multi-pin electrical connectors down one side and toggle/other fittings the other. All surrounded by a light green painted tubular steel frame.

Eleven large sections and components recovered from crash site. Originally a four-engined mid wing monoplane heavy bomber with single fin and rudder, three power operated gun turrets and retractable undercarriage. Remains comprise rear fuselage, centre fuselage, fin, rudder, flap section, horizontal stabilisers, dorsal turret surround and leading edge wing fuel tanks.

Waist length, single-breasted, three button jacket with collar and lapels. Gathered into a waistband with an extension forming the belt closure which engages with a metal buckle on the right. Waistband fitted with a pair of concealed button holes at rear to engage with buttons on trousers. Two flapped, buttoned breast pockets. Sleeves terminate in buttoned wrist bands. Officers version with soft shoulder straps. All buttons, black plastic, pierced through the fabric, not concealed in a fly.

Canadian built Bolingbroke twin-engined all metal monoplane light bomber adapted to Blenheim Mk. IV standard. Painted in dark earth/dark green/sky camouflage to represent a Bomber Command aircraft of No. 139 squadron.

Black crackle painted cylinder shaped (roll stabilizing unit) gyro unit bolted in an anti-vibration frame and fitted with a reflector mirror and lamp. All mounted onto a large base (marked starboard/port drift) fitted with manual winding cable drive.

4-cylinder upright in-line 98hp piston engine mounted on tubular metal stand. Part sectioned, missing complete cylinder no.1 and cylinder head no.2. As fitted to De Havilland Gipsy Moth/Gipsy Moth Trainer, Spartan Arrow, and de Havilland D.H.71 Tiger Moth.
