Blue-grey, soft fabric cap with the crown gathered into a band covered by a separate black mohair band bearing the RAF Airmen's cap badge in gilding metal. Plain black leather peak and chin strap. Repair (poorly) made to crown of cap above right side of peak; owner's name and service number written on inside of peak.

Sectioned. Large fabricated steel cylindrical shell with domed plate welded to nose end, parallel sides, and closing plate bolted to angle ring welded in position at rear. Nose dome housing three exploder pockets. Three brackets welded in-line along the body for hoisting and suspension with four smaller locating pads. Complete with tail section and painted dark green with a red nose band.
