Folded fabric sheet contained in plastic folder with button hanger (missing). The linen sheet has a printed Union Jack both sides with text in English and Russian Cyrillic, declaring the holder to be English and asking the Russians to communicate the holder's particulars to the British Military Mission, Moscow, and instructions to the holder where to wear the pass and how to respond when confronted by Russian troops.

Black leather and khaki/green fabric pull-on boot to just below knee, lined throughout in sheepskin. The foot and seam-reinforcing strip at rear of leather, the leg of thick cotton, webbing-like fabric. The front, top of the leg slit for a few inches to ease putting on. Khaki webbing tightening strap and buckle at top. Leather pull tabs inside. Leather soles, rubber heels. Right, hole in sole.
Spitfire Mark I Windscreen

Laminated glass curved at the top and flat at the base sandwiched between two-piece aluminium framework at a slight rear angle and held together with two small bars. The glass has machine gun bullet damage on the inside. Mounted to a display frame with a small plate on the rear inscribed "SUB.LT A.G. BLAKE R.N. 19 SQUADRON".

Single-breasted, four button, four pocket jacket with collar and lapels and integral fabric belt. Pleated, flap and button breast pockets, flap and button inset skirt pockets. Rear vent. All buttons and buckle gilding metal. Sleeves bear from top to bottom - eagle, A on dark blue patch, Wireless operator/mechanic badge and Flight Sergeant's rank insignia. Military Medal ribbon above left breast pocket.

Circular, silver with plain suspender bar. Obverse - bust length, portrait of the Sovereign, GRV, left profile with title round the rim. Reverse - Britannia with a lion looking towards a rising sun and holding out an olive branch and the law. In a small section below AFRICA. Ribbon - yellow with black edges and two narrow dark green stripes. Edge impressed 235046 A.C.2. W.F. BUMSTEAD. R.A.F. With clasp SOMALILAND 1920.

Combination instrument comprising a pair of headphones mounted on a polished steel support made up of two strips on metal with screw clamps at the ends permitting the headphones to be raised or lowered and a Y shaped Bakelite piece holding a microphone and a speaking horn suspended round the operator's neck by a clip-on cotton tape. The microphone and headphones connected by electrical wiring terminating in a large jack plug.

Hose Assembly (PEC), RAF, Mk. 14

Green anodized light alloy plate with spring-loaded locking handle pierced with three circular bushes to provide Oxygen, Anti-G suit and communications services to the occupant of the ejection seat. Two holes only utilized for oxygen supply and communications. The oxygen supply provided through a rubber corrugated tube with a Bayonet Union Socket at its upper end for attachment to the oxygen mask pipe. A snap hook is provided to carry the weight of the tube by attachment to a D ring on the flying clothing. The communications lead is clipped to the plate and to the oxygen pipe and terminates in a single pin socket at the upper end and in a six pin plug at the plate end.
