Beardmore Tornado III

Very large and heavy white alloy cylinder head from Beardmore Tornado III eight cylinder upright in line, 585hp, four stroke diesel airship engine. Large rectangular body with flaking remains of original black paint; detachable domed cover held in place by four corroded wing nuts. Four valves remain in situ inside the cover. Corroded bolts on either side. Small panels on either side of main block held in place by screws.Pivoting control lever to one head, possibly for throttle rod or cable.
