Rectangular grey painted metal case with a glass screen (cathode ray tube), one multi-pin connector, three aerial sockets and four other dials all fitted to the face. Two locating spikes in the rear.

Standard Pattern No. 35/R/984A Single breasted lapel jacket closing with four gilt buttons. The garment cut with a vertical seam folded to form as a ridge to shape to the bosom and the back. The back cut in four panels with darts so as to give a waisted shape. No belt. The bottom of the front opening rounded. Inset, flap and button pockets in the skirt. The flaps cut in three points, deeply scalloped. Fitted with shoulder eagles - pale blue eagles embroidered onto a blue-grey patch. Lined in dark grey synthetic fibre fabric throughout. King's crown gilding metal buttons.

Four photographic postcards. One of them is of a group of 28 Squadron personnel photographed outside wooden huts at RAF Yatesbury. The other three are photographic portraits. One is a full length portrait of an unidentified RAF officer, standing with a stick circa 1919; one is a full length portrait of an airman standing against a park bench, holding a walking stick circa 1917. The last one is of an RFC airman sitting on a stone wall, holding a walking stick and is dated 21 November 1917. On the reverse in handwriting is, "To Cecil with best wishes from Alf".

Single-breasted, four button (one absent), four pocket jacket with collar and lapels and integral fabric belt. Pleated, flap and button breast pockets, flapped inset skirt pockets with added buttons. Rear vent. All buttons and buckle gilding metal. Sleeves bear from top to bottom, shoulder eagles and LACW badges on upper arms and Wireless Operator/Mechanic badge on right sleeve. Single inverted Good Conduct chevron above left cuff. Slight Moth damage. Conversion refers to the application of buttons to the lower pockets and the provision of button holes in the pocket flaps to make the jacket look like the original, 1939 Pattern garment.

Khaki serge jacket with lapel extending fully to right shoulder and fastening with concealed horn buttons; shoulder straps and horizontal, inset pockets with flaps all fastened with visible, small horn buttons. No tabs on cuffs. The fall part of the collar closes edge to edge with hooks and eyes. The sleeves, chest and shoulders lined, but the lower part unlined. Short vent at centre rear. With shoulder-titles - ROYAL FLYING CORPS - embroidered off-white on black. Embroidered stripes and four bladed propeller of a Flight Sergeant on the upper arms and four blue service chevrons above the right cuff. Slight moth damaged.

Blue-grey Barathea hat with a low, plain crown and a brim the rear part of which is permanently turned up. The brim stiffened with multiple rows of stitching. With black mohair band and miniature officer's cap badge. Black Petersham inner band. Cotton lining.
