Green canvas map case, one side with a full flap opening incorporating two acetate sleeves for maps while the other side has a full length flap opening with two two smaller flaps covering a message book. All flaps secured with press studs. From the top, two short leather straps attach to a brass swivel hook which, in turn, is fitted with a long leather strap.

Single-breasted, five button jacket with stand collar closing with two hooks, false pointed cuffs, two flap and button breast pockets, two flap and button pockets in skirt and two small vents in the rear. Soft shoulder straps with gilt pips to the rank of Lieutenant. Pilot's flying badge above left breast pocket. Wound stripe above left cuff and overseas service chevrons above the right.
