Single-breasted, three button jacket with roll step collar, two flap and button patch pockets in the skirt, false cuffs and a loose belt fastening with a two prong buckle. All buttons RAF gilding metal with eagle and crown. Lined throughout in off-white cotton.

Large black painted circular scale with bubble level, marked 0-36º with a fixed frame holding two wire lines and two sections cut out to show scale numbers. Scale rotates under the frame and has a ball socket base fixed to wood.

Rectangular duralumin matchbox holder, open on three sides for easy insertion/removal of matchbox. Engravings of zeppelin L 48 under attack by two Bi-planes, ZEPP+ L48+ within two pieces of foliage and THEBERTON JUNE 17 1917 also between foliage.
