Standard Pattern 35/R/1785A Blue-grey trousers with straight leg and zip fly. A single combination lace 34mm wide down the outer seams showing two bright gold stripes separated by a narrower dark blue one. Two inset pockets opening vertically down the side seams. No waistband and no fastenings for braces. No lining.

Fitted with a sewn-in fur (rabbit ?) lining. Shoulder straps bear gilt 2nd Lieutennant's rank pips.
