Single-breasted, five button jacket with roll-step collar, two flap and button, pleated breast pockets, two flap and button bellows pockets in skirt and centre rear vent. Integral fabric belt with two prong buckle. Black and pale blue rank lace at cuffs to the rank of Group Captain with an eagle and separate crown above. All metal blackened bronze. Buttons black composition. Medal ribbons - DSO and bar, DFC, '39-'45 Star, Air Crew Europe Star with rosette for France and Germany, Pacific Star, Defence Medal, Africa Star with rosette, War Medal 1939-1945 and Australian Overseas Service Medal 1939-1945. Pilot's badge above left breast pocket.
