Rectangular portable bakelite case with a three-way switch marked, 10/100/1000 KC/S, two adjustable screw heads marked SET 100/SET 10, two terminals marked A/E, phones jack socket and two on/off switches marked, FIL/MOD all fitted in an ebonite face. Five wires with connectors in the rear and RAF (VR21) glass valves fitted inside.
