A white horse hair purse with five black bells suspended from a gilt cantle bearing RAF eagles and the official badge of 602 Squadron. Each bell has a gilt cap also bearing the squadron badge. At the rear a brown leather pouch and two suspension loops. The whole mounted on brass stand.

Khaki cotton, poncho style, cape opening with five press studs. Fall collar with buttoned tab for when worn up. Large diagonal press studded flaps on chest to gain access to undergarments. Centre rear vent with a single press stud. Inside, long fabric straps from the shoulders for securing the cape to the body.
