Khaki cotton, poncho style, cape opening with five press studs. Fall collar with buttoned tab for when worn up. Large diagonal press studded flaps on chest to gain access to undergarments. Centre rear vent with a single press stud. Inside, long fabric straps from the shoulders for securing the cape to the body.

Standard Pattern No. 35/R/832 Rectangular panel of white leather cut to fit over shoulders and round back of neck and fitted with two pairs of buckled straps to fasten cross-wise over the chest. The area across the shoulders fitted with four rows of five dome headed white metal studs.

A plain white cross edged gold and bearing centrally on both sides a five point gold star. The interstices filled with eagles with outstretched wings. The cross suspended from a coronet in the form of a castle on a hinged connector. The actual suspension loop within the hollow castle.
