Blue-grey knee length, double-breasted coat with wide, round collar. Five buttons on each side. Fabric waist belt which fastens with two buttons. Inset, flapped pockets on either side at hip level. Centre rear vent which can be buttoned closed when required. Small uniform button on lower part of left skirt engages with a concealed tab so as to keep skirt closed in windy weather.

Buttons compressed brown leather. Red eagles on khaki patches at shoulders. Red two bladed propeller on khaki patches of an Air Mechanic 1st Class on upper arms.

Rectangular matt black painted body with mounting brackets either side. Three-way switch marked, OFF, S/BY, TX, rotating TUNE knob, FINE TUNNING KC/S dial marked, +/- 0-7, A-M CHANNEL selector, five-way switch marked, R/T, MCW, CW1, CW2, INT, RF.GAIN and DIM dials with a voltage gauge all fitted in the face. Large multi-pin plug in rear. Slight damage to face.
