Black leather, lace-up shoe with five pairs of lace holes. The forward upper of the shoe formed from a rounded panel of leather stitched to the upper sides with three rows of stitching. This top panel extends backwards to become the tongue of the shoe beneath the lacing. Lined in pale buff leather. With leather sole and blocked heel both reinforced with iron nails. Right.

Khaki brown, nylon, poncho style, cape opening with five press studs. Fall collar with buttoned tab for when worn up. Large diagonal press studded flaps on chest to gain access to undergarments. Centre rear vent with a single press stud. Inside, long straps from the shoulders for securing the cape to the body and a drawstring in the waist.

Single-breasted, three button, olive green jacket with roll-step collar, Two flap and button breast pockets, two flap and button bellows skirt pockets, soft shoulder straps and vents in the rear quarters. Black rank lace at cuffs to the rank of Captain. Black five pointed star above the cuffs. US Navy pilot's wings above left breast pocket.

Shoulder straps, reinforcing panels on front of shoulders, pleated flap and button breast pockets, flap and button skirt pockets. Two brass supporting hooks at waist for webbing belt, two short vents at rear. Buttons Royal Engineers pattern and RE gilding metal initials on shoulder straps.
