Aircraft & Exhibits, In Storage, 67/U/274
Black leather, lace-up shoe with five pairs of lace holes. The forward upper of the shoe formed from a rounded panel of leather stitched to the upper sides with three rows of stitching. This top panel extends backwards to become the tongue of the shoe beneath the lacing. Lined in pale buff leather. With leather sole and blocked heel both reinforced with iron nails. Right.

Portable, rectangular dark varnished wooden case with hinged lid. Fitted with, a chromed element, electrical lead with "bayonet bulb fitting" with five sockets marked 100-250, a rotating dial marked "DIATHERM CONTROL 1-WEAK 26 STRONG, milli-ampres gauge marked 0-3000, on/off buttons, two terminals marked "PATIENT" and single earth terminal. Both leather handles rotted with one broken in half.

Varnished square wooden box (missing). There are five circular flat knobs fitted to the front panel, with two pairs of red and black wires fitted into a four pin plug (missing) with aerial and earth terminals. The knobs are marked from left to right, PARALLEL CONDENSER, FILAMENT CURRENT, TUNNING VARIOMETER, WAVE LENGTH and REACTANCE. Valves, one flat knob and wooden case missing with deterioration.

Single-breasted, five button jacket with stand and fall collar fastening with hooks, fabric belt with one button to fasten, stitched on at rear, flap and button pleated breast pockets, flapped inset skirt pockets. Buttons compressed brown leather. Red eagles on khaki patches at shoulders. Red two bladed propeller on khaki patches of an Air Mechanic 1st Class on upper arms.

Single-breasted, five button jacket with stand collar closing with two hooks, false pointed cuffs, two flap and button, pleated breast pockets, two flap and button bellows pockets in skirt and centre rear vent. Waist band with belt hooks. Soft shoulder straps with gilt pips to the rank of Lieutenant. Gilt RFC badges fitted to collar. Collar fitted with detachable false shirt collar.

Soft shoulder straps with gilt pips to the rank of Lieutenant. Pilot's flying badge above left breast pocket. Wound stripe above left cuff and overseas service chevrons above the right.
