Standard Pattern No.35/R/1414 Khaki brown, nylon, poncho style, cape opening with five press studs. Fall collar with buttoned tab for when worn up. Large diagonal press studded flaps on chest to gain access to undergarments. Centre rear vent with a single press stud. Inside, long straps from the shoulders for securing the cape to the body and a drawstring in the waist.

A silver, five arm cross, the arms facetted all over, the ends of the arms cleft and the points with ball finials, the interstices filled with the rays of a star. Centrally on the cross a medallion bearing a bust of Napoleon I within a ring lettered REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE 1870 HONNEUR ET PATRIE. Vertical fastening pin at rear with two loop hooks.

Single-breasted, thick cotton coat fastening to the neck with five plastic buttons retained by split rings; four within a fly, the top one visible. The cuffs slit at the rear and fastening with a button. Two large flapped pockets in front skirt, small flapped pocket above on right side, open breast pocket on left. Turn-over collar. Centre rear vent.

Portable, large rectangular light grey painted body angled at the front with curved handles fitted on either side. The top is fitted with various sized valve bases and five sets of rotating wheels (for valve pin number). The face is fitted with two large rectangular meters and thirteen rotating knobs, on/off switch and red and blue lamps marked, OVERLOAD/SUPPLY. Three-pin plug with cable in rear. Slight damage to rotating keys.

Button-up collar and shoulder straps. 2 breast patch pockets closing with a pointed flap and button. 2 large pleated patch pockets below the waist closing with a flap and button. Two internal open breast pockets and a drawstring waist. Hem also fitted with drawstring. Elbow patches on sleeve and 2 position button up cuffs. This example fitted with a hood.
