Single-breasted, five button jacket with stand and fall collar fastening with hooks, fabric belt with one button to fasten, stitched on at rear, flap and button pleated breast pockets, flapped inset skirt pockets. Buttons gilding metal. Plain round cuff. No shoulder straps. Plain panel back, no vents. Red eagles on khaki patches at shoulders, Air Mechanic 1st Class rank badges on arm and inverted good conduct chevron on the left cuff. Black marks on right shoulder.

Avro Lincoln Mk.IIs (including SX935 and SX938) are re-fuelled and aircrews arrive. The aeroplanes are started up, taxi, take off and are see overhead. Views from the cockpit show arctic scenery and aircrew at their stations. A signpost on an airfield gives the directions and flying time to the North Pole, Tokyo, Fairbanks, Thule, Los Angeles, New York, Santiago, Madrid, London and Paris.

Folded printed memorial card to Capt Robinson, the card has a drawing of a cross with flowers with the words "thy will be done" printed upon it. On the inside of the card is a half-length portrait of Capt Robinson with a verse and brief details about Capt Robinson including his date of death and internment at Wealdstone Cemetery.

Tall silver trophy on cylindrical black ebonised wooden base, too which are affixed two engraved silver plaques. The main trophy consists of a tunic-clad female figure, standing on a half globe, carrying a victory larel wreath in her left hand, with her right arm raisd aloft holding a detailed model of a Deperdussin-type monoplane with fin and ruder broken off and bent port stabiliser - the only visible damage to the whole trophy.

Blue card ticket with a white printed sticker attached to the cover with the following printed on it in red and blue, " Important Notice Airway Terminus Victoria Station on and from 27th July 1931". General conditions for passengers are detailed inside, with the stub of the ticket number "40587 London-Paris" which has been torn off. There is also a reminder slip in the ticket.

Letter from Shell-Mex & B.P. Limited to Alex Henshaw, 1939

Letter thanking Alex Henshaw on behalf of Shell Company of South Africa Limited for agreeing to the terms regarding the use of his Cape Record Flight in advertising. Also informs Alex that the telegrams sent from London to Cape Town amounted to £21 11s 3d and this has been deducted from his deposit and encloses a cheque for £28 8s 9d.
Case, mounting, Elliott Instruments

Elliott Instrument Board No 2 - Roughly square metal mounting case, green painted at rear with rear mounting bracket and four corner fixing eyes. Brass rev counter connection at base of case. The case itself contains air speed indicator, longitudinal clinometer and dial type rev counter, with recessed spaces at top centre for pocket altimeter (lower) and watch (top), neither of which are present. Made by Elliott Bros of London in 1912.
