Single-breasted, five button, khaki jacket with stand collar closing with two hooks, Two flap and button breast patch pockets, two flap and button skirt patch pockets and tapered soft shoulder straps. Fitted with 2nd Lieutenant's bar on the shoulder straps and pilot's flying badge above left breast pocket. US and Aviation Branch collar badges. Tan lace above cuffs. Three service chevrons above left cuff. All buttons of rimless Eagle and National Seal type made in an early 'plastic' type material.

Double-breasted, blue-grey, Fleece cloth coat fastening with five pairs of Staybrite buttons, the functional ones sewn on, the non-functional ones plugged through. Two flapped pockets at waist level, soft buttoned shoulder straps with rank lace of Group Captain. Formed cuffs slit in the rear seam. Centre rear vent with button. Buttoned tab inside front skirts to keep the coat closed. Box pleat in the back. Half belt across back with two buttons. The body lined and the skirts partially lined with synthetic fibre fabric.

Varnished square wooden box (missing front cover). The top access panel having three circular vents and hinged with two side vents. There are five circular flat knobs fitted to the front panel, with two pairs of red and black wires fitted into a four pin plug (missing) with aerial and earth terminals. The knobs are marked from left to right, PARALLEL CONDENSER, FILAMENT CURRENT, TUNNING VARIOMETER, WAVE LENGTH and REACTANCE. Valves missing inside and one circular front knob with deterioration.

A gilt, five armed white cross with forked ends and ball finials, the interstices filled by a green wreath of oak (right) and laurel (left) leaves, suspended from a horizontal oval wreath of the same. Centrally in the cross a gold medallion bearing the head of La Republique within a blue border lettered REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE 1870. The reverse of the medallion bearing two crossed tricolores within the border lettered HONNEUR ET PATRIE. Enamel chipped in wreath. Without scarlet ribbon.

Long, double-breasted, blue-grey Fleece cloth coat with a fold down collar, shoulderboards bearing rank to Group Captain in Service Dress lace and belt fastening with a pinless buckle. Flapped, inset pockets in front at waist level, cut slightly sloping to rear. Sword slit let into seam on left side and covered by belt. Long centre rear vent with a self-coloured button to keep skirts closed. Front closes with five pairs of large uniform buttons tapering downwards to the waist. Three small uniform buttons mounted at the rear of each cuff.

Large, rectangular matt black painted body with front panel fitted with, five "press buttons" under red and black painted spring loaded flaps marked, JETTINSON SAFE (ALL), CONTROL TEST, JETTISON LIVE (ALL), JETTISON SAFE (SELECTED ONLY) and BOMB CIRCUIT TEST. A panel with 24 small windows fitted in centre with two other control panels fitted bottom, one marked, SPACING, YARDS, KNOTS and SECONDS. Three large and one small multi-pin plugs fitted in the base and four mounting points on rear. Complete with original transit case.

long, grey, waxed cotton coat with flapped opening closing down the right hand side with five buttons (one absent) tapering towards the waist. Single button to secure the flap at the neck. A flap from the right shoulder covers the top of the main flap and is secured by a small button. Small tabbed button to close the skirt. Leatherette cuffs closing a single button. Fabric belt, secured by two belt loops and closing with two pinless buckles. Two flapped insert pockets in skirt. Wool lining.

Single-breasted, waist-length blue-grey serge jacket with fall collar and lapels and closing with five buttons concealed in a fly. Pleated and flapped breast pockets closed with a visible button (missing). False pointed cuffs and soft shoulderstraps. The waistband narrowing into a belt extension which is secured with a clasp on the right side. The waistband pierced with two button holes at the back to secure the jacket to the trousers with which it is supposed to be worn.

Khaki, flap-over jacket fastening with five buttons concealed in a fly down the right side. The top edge of the flap fastens on the shoulder with three press-studs. Interior of the collar fitted with a false khaki shirt collar retained by 'plastic' buttons. Shoulder straps sewn in place with Major's insignia in the form of bronze crowns. Plain cuffs. Vertical inset pockets in skirts. Centre rear vent. RFC pilot's badge on left breast. Lined throughout in khaki cotton fabric. Medal ribbon for MC. Wound stripe above left cuff. Slight damage.
