Single-breasted, five button, blue-grey jacket with roll-step collar, Two flap and button pleated breast pockets, two flap and button bellows skirt pockets and centre rear vent. Integral fabric belt with two prong gilt buckle. The shoulders fitted with loops and buttons to retain the gold wire embroidered No.1A shoulderboards for Air Officers. Black and pale blue rank lace at cuffs to the rank of Marshal of the Royal Air Force. Medal ribbons for LIST NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE. Pilot's badge above left breast pocket. See historical notes.

Master Pattern No. 35/R/922 Single-breasted, waist length, dark blue serge jacket with a roll step collar fastening with five sewn through buttons concealed in a fly. Two pleat and flap breast pockets bearing black plastic King's crown buttons and shoulder straps fastened with the same buttons. The waistband extending into a long tongue fastened with a flat hook. False pointed cuffs. Lined in black sateened cotton and with a strip at the back of the waistband provided with two buttonholes to connect to trousers. No badges.

Long, double-breasted, blue-grey Fleece cloth coat with a fold down collar, shoulderboards bearing rank to Squadron Leader in Service Dress lace and belt fastening with a pinless buckle. Flapped, inset pockets in front at waist level, cut slightly sloping to rear. Sword slit let into seam on left side and covered by belt. Long centre rear vent with two self-coloured buttons to keep skirts closed. Front closes with five pairs of large uniform buttons tapering downwards to the waist. Three small uniform buttons mounted at the rear of each cuff.

Long centre rear vent with two self-coloured buttons to keep skirts closed. Front closes with five pairs of large uniform buttons tapering downwards to the waist. Single-breasted, waist-length blue-grey serge jacket with fall collar and lapels and closing with five buttons concealed in a fly. Pleated and flapped breast pockets closed with a visible button. False pointed cuffs and soft shoulderstraps. The waistband narrowing into a belt extension which is secured with a clasp on the right side. Lace to the rank of Section Officer and VR gilt badges on the shoulderstraps. Medal ribbon for Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal and 1953 Coronation Medal. Pilot's flying badge above left breast pocket.

Master Pattern No. 35/R/1001A Long, double-breasted coat closing with five pairs of buttons. Sleeves with a proper turned cuff with shallow cleft in rear seam. Inverted pleat in the back, half belt with two buttons and rear vent closed with small concealed buttons. Two inset pockets with flaps in the front skirts. Made in light serge cloth. Warrant Officers rank badges on both lower sleeves. Fully lined in grey man-made fibre material. Labels annotated to serve as a guide for the Officers' greatcoat which would be the same, but with soft shoulder straps.
