Long, double-breasted, blue-grey Fleece cloth coat with a fold down collar, shoulderboards bearing rank to Air Marshal in Service Dress lace and belt fastening with a pinless buckle. Flapped, inset pockets in front at waist level, cut slightly sloping to rear. Sword slit let into seam on left side and covered by belt. Long centre rear vent with two self-coloured buttons to keep skirts closed. Front closes with five pairs of large uniform buttons tapering downwards to the waist. Three small uniform buttons mounted at the rear of each cuff. All uniform buttons and buckle gilded metal.

Double-breasted, blue grey, raincoat with fold down collar and soft shoulder straps. Coat closes with five pairs of large black plastic buttons and a button and tab to close the skirt. When closed the left hand flap of the coat tucks under a small flap from the right shoulder which is secured to the left by a single button. Long central rear vent closing with a single button. Fabric belt with a plastic buckle and single pin secured by belt loops. Vertical flapless pocket openings closing with a single button enable access to internal open patch pockets. Full grey cotton lining. Cuff straps with two buttons.

Single-breasted, waist-length blue-grey serge jacket with fall collar and lapels and closing with five buttons concealed in a fly. Pleated and flapped breast pockets closed with a visible button. False pointed cuffs and soft shoulderstraps. The waistband narrowing into a belt extension which is secured with a clasp on the right side. The waistband pierced with two button holes at the back to secure the jacket to the trousers with which it is supposed to be worn. Fitted with shoulder eagles and LAC rank badges on upper arms, and Telecommunications trade badge centre of the right sleeve.

Khaki, flap-over jacket fastening with five buttons concealed in a fly down the right side. The top edge of the flap fastens on the top of the shoulder with two hooks and eyes and the shoulder strap fastens over this with a press stud. Rise and fall collar bearing bronze RFC badges (removed). Shoulder straps fastening with press studs bear Captain's insignia in the form of three embroidered pips. Plain cuffs. Horizontal flapped pockets in skirts. Centre rear vent. RFC Observer's badge on left breast. Lined throughout in khaki cotton fabric. Medal ribbons for 1914-15 Star, 1914-18 War Medal,... and Victory Medal. Moth damaged.

The top edge of the flap fastens on the top of the shoulder with two press-studs and the shoulder strap fastens over this engaging with a female stud superimposed above the flap stud. Rise and fall collar bearing bronze RFC badges. Shoulder straps fastening with press-studs bear Captain's insignia in the form of embroidered pips. Plain cuffs. Horizontal flapped pockets in skirts. Centre rear vent. RFC pilot's badge on left breast. Lined throughout in khaki cotton fabric. Medal ribbon for MC with Rosette. Slight damage.

Khaki serge jacket with lapel extending fully to right shoulder and fastening with concealed horn buttons; shoulder straps and horizontal, inset pockets with flaps all fastened with visible, small horn buttons. No tabs on cuffs. The fall part of the collar closes edge to edge with hooks and eyes. The front lower opening fitted with a press stud to keep it closed across the upper legs. The sleeves, chest and shoulders lined, but the lower part unlined. Short vent at centre rear. With shoulder-titles - ROYAL FLYING CORPS - embroidered off-white on black, Flight Sergeant's stripes on upper arms and five blue service chevrons above right cuff. Badly Mothed.
