Double-breasted, blue grey, raincoat with fold down collar and soft shoulder straps. Coat closes with five pairs of large black plastic buttons and a button and tab to close the skirt. When closed the left hand flap of the coat tucks under a small flap from the right shoulder which is secured to the left by a single button. Long central rear vent closing with a single button. Fabric belt with a plastic buckle and single pin secured by belt loops. Vertical flapless pocket openings closing with a single button enable access to internal open patch pockets. Full grey cotton lining. Cuff straps with two buttons. Shoulder titles have been removed and in the process the sleeve has been torn.

Single-breasted, waist-length blue-grey serge jacket closing with four pierced black plastic buttons which button through and are not concealed in a fly. The garment intended to be buttoned to the top and the collar fastened with a hook and eye. Pleated and flapped breast pockets closed with the same, visible buttons which also appear on the cuffs. The waistband narrowing into a belt extension which engages with a black lacquered buckle on right side which has a retaining loop behind it. The waistband pierced with two button holes at the back and one in the front to secure the jacket to the trousers with which it is supposed to be worn. No shoulder straps. The collar fitted with white gorget tabs and the tops of the sleeves bearing UNIVERSITY OF LONDON AIR SQUADRON badges.

Brown, card folder containing two graphs plotting the rate of production of the Handley Page draughtsmen, a four page typescript entitled "Review of present Drawing Office Position", five completed "Draughtsmen/weeks per drawing-Halifax production" forms, six "Summary of 'Halifax' Drawings Issued" forms, two typescript sheets entitled "Ozalid Tracing Cloth Prints despatched to Messrs. English Electric Co. to date", three typescript sheets entitled "Prints despatched monthly through this office", three manuscript sheets regarding the Drawing Office and cost of labour and a seven page typescript entitled "List of Drawing Office work outstanding".

A five arm gold cross with forked ends and ball finials, enamelled white with red edges. Obverse - centrally, within a gold decorated ring a blue medallion bearing thirteen white stars. The arms of the cross linked by a green laurel wreath and the angles of the cross within the wreath filled with pairs of gold crossed arrows. At base a bow joining the wreath. At the top of the vertical arm a simple, fixed loop suspender with a plain gilt ribbon loop. Reverse - on the plain back of the wreath the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and on the plain surround of the medallion ANNUIT COEPTIS MDCCLXXXII. The centre of the medallion engraved JOSEPH P. BAILEY Ribbon - mauve-pink with very narrow white edges.

Long, pale brown leather coat, the front of double flap construction buttoning with five leather domed buttons on right side. Plain leather collar fitted with a tab on left and a button on right to keep it up and with pair of hooks and eyes atbase of neck for closure. Pair of flapped pockets below waist. Large, diagonal map pocket without flap on chest with opening on right. Cuffs fitted with long tabs and buttonse. Broad leather waist belt with leather-covered pin buckle, the holes reinforced with metal eyelets. Lined throughout in sateened cotton and provided with buttons for the fitting of a separate liner. Large internal chest pocket. Shoulders fitted with straps. Condition - very good overall.

Master Pattern No. 35/R/939 Hooded, wool lined, buff linen coat closing with a full length zip covered by a buttoned flap with five visible buttons. A toggled tab covers the neck and the hood is fitted with a drawstring. Slant patch pockets in the waist with buttoned flap and a vertically opening flap and button inset pocket on the left breast. Pen pocket on the left sleeve. Soft shoulder straps. Integral fabric belt closing with a pinless alloy buckle. Slashed cuffs closing with a buttoned tab. The rear of the jacket is cut lower than the front and a linen panel is provided to pass between the legs and join to the front of the jacket with two buttons.
