Rectangular black and green paper banknote. Front; THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT ONE CENT central with 1 at each corner. Rear; depicting of a floral arabesque, in black, as background. A large size numeral 1 value in white is at the centre and at each of the four corners. No watermark was present for this banknote. Crisp.

"Transmitter" rectangular metal case with four adjusting knobs, one red "push button", one clear lamp and two locking switches fitted to the face. "Receiver" rectangular metal case with four fine adjusters fitted to the face. "Power Unit" rectangular metal case with two circular cooling vents on top. All above components fitted into a chassis assembly and painted matt black.
