"Transmitter" rectangular metal case with four adjusting knobs, one red "push button", one clear lamp and two locking switches fitted to the face. "Receiver" rectangular metal case with four fine adjusters fitted to the face. "Power Unit" rectangular metal case with two circular cooling vents on top. All above components fitted into a chassis assembly and painted matt black.

Rectangle of plywood with a paper sheet glued both sides, one marked with four name places "FROM" (AIRSHIP SHED, CORSEWALL POINT, PORT PATRICK and BURROW HEAD) with distance in miles "TO" 16 other places. The reverse side printed "KNOTS converted into MILES PER HOUR" 10-60. Hole cut out the top for hanging. Stained one side, slight tare the other.

Two pieces of wood fixed together with an aluminium strip sandwiched in-between, shaped to fit the feet with each tread bound in string. A large centre hole with one either end of the aluminium strip for control wires. Centre and tips have remains of green/grey paint, now cracking with string rotted one side. See Historical Notes.

Aircraft & Exhibits, In Storage, 83/R/1205

Rectangular grey painted metal case housing three Receiver units (Types G,H,K) and a Syntoniser (S.36) side by side. Each unit has various dials and switches fitted into the face with glass valves showing in one. Case has slight damage in one corner and is fitted with carrying handles either end and locking clips around its outer edge.
