Part six of a recorded interview in which Sqdn Ldr John Rowland gives an account of his RAF career, including training with the RAF Volunteer Reserve and at Cranwell, service with 613 Squadron as an Army co-operation pilot in Hectors and Lysanders, a tour as a flying instructor and two subsequent tours flying Avro Lancasters before taking a job as a pilot for BOAC.

Two circular relay coils secured to a square Bakelite base. Six metal arms, grouped in pairs are connected by a strip of Bakelite which in turn is connected to the coils by spring loaded metal fittings. Six metal fittings are placed below the metal arms so that when the Bakelite strip moves down contact is made. A card tag with description and reference number is attached with string to two of the metal arms.
