Rectangular varnished wooden box with hinged lid revealing triple valve bases inside next to a battery with terminal exiting at the right side. Six wire terminals fitted in the outside left and a circular glass window in the lid. Slight damage to one side.

Three-foot diameter, light gauge, steel disk used to check the timing of gun synchronisation prior to the fitting of a propeller. Circular central cut-out of 4 inch diameter surrounded by six equally spaced bolt holes for mounting the plate to the engine hub and test prop. Another collection of six equally spaced holes are placed 11 inches out from the hub. Two 9 inch By 1.5 inch apertures have been cut on opposing sides of the outer section of the disk to which thin wooden forms can be located and secured by eight bolts, four above and four below the openings. These record the position of the bullet as it passes through the propeller arc. One wooden form is attached to the disk. Slight damage to the side of one of the apertures where a series of holes have pierced the disk.
