Rectangular brown and green paper banknote with metal strip within inside right. Front; THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT top centre with ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS below. Large number 100 at left centre, with smaller at all other corners, with workers in a rubber plantation right. Rear; Tropical beach scene with number 100 appearing six times within elaborate designs. Stained but crisp.

A six point silver star of multiple, facetted rays with green enamel rays in between the main points. Centrally a medallion of a sun in splendour with a resting lion in the foreground. The badge attached by two facetted links to the sash. Ribbon - bright, mid-green. Four of the green enamel pieces missing.
