Single-breasted, six button, stand collar tunic with decorative gold shoulder cords. Collar fitted with gold wire embroidered crowned eagles and closing with a pair of hooks and eyes. Hooks let into waist to support belt. Two small rear vents and sleeves with false pointed cuffs. Sleeves fitted with gold lace Corporal's stripes and crowned lyre badges embroidered in gold wire above the cuffs. Lined throughout in mid grey synthetic fabric.

Brown leather hood with face aperture adjustable by a draw string connected to a buckled strap passing round rear of head. The entire lining of the helmet removed. No ear flaps but six holes, two rows of three, pierced immediately behind the vertical, cylindrical wind deflectors. Adjustable leather straps with buckles at upper, outer corners of aperture. Condition - externally good except for a little damage on right wind deflector.

Air is fed to the skin by a series of pvc tubes housed within a knitted cotton lining and are supplied by six larger tubes which are connected to the main air supply by a rubber hose on the centre of the chest. A seventh tube supplies air to the head when required.
