Ultra-dark blue-black double-breasted jacket with turn down collar and lapels. Four buttons on each side, one pair behind the lapels. Two flapped interior pockets in the skirt. No vents. False cuffs slit at the rear and closing with two buttons. All buttons black horn with crown and fouled anchor. Silver wire six point star on a circular patch on upper right sleeve. Black sateen cotton lining to body with ticken in sleeves.

Tan leather hood with face aperture adjustable by a draw string connected to a buckled strap passing round rear of head. Helmet lined in chamois at the crown and in skirts, and in fur at neck, ears and forehead. No ear flaps but six holes, two rows of three, pierced immediately behind the vertical, cylindrical wind deflectors. Adjustable leather straps with buckles at upper, outer corners of aperture. Condition - perfect, never issued.

Glass fibre protective helmet shell with six re-enforcement ribs emanating from the crown which join with a rib running around the brow. Foam padding in the crown, nylon suspension harness riveted to the shell. leather covered cheek pads, leather pads front and rear held by nylon webbing straps and adjustable via press studded buckles on the side of the helmet. This example with fabric inner helmet. This example with a mounting for a boom mike on the right.

On a blue circular cloth badge with a stitched border of yellow thread is a shield emblem divided into six segments alternately coloured orange, light blue and sand, with images of aircraft in 5 of the segments and a vehicle in the sixth. In the centre of the shield is a bell and below the shield a scroll on which is RAPID DELPOYMENT FORCE on a white background. Velcro backed, worn.

Monochrome print of the personnel and equipment required to make a Stirling bomber operational. The aircrew and ground crew stand central in the print with the Stirling bomber behind them. Surrounding them are a fuel tanker and two airfield tractors, one towing an oil tank trailer and the other towing six bomb trollies. The personnel associated with this equipment stand in small groups beside it.
