Circular, dull gold with articulated ring suspender. Obverse - an angel with outstretched wings holding a circular shield and a sword. Reverse - in front of a shield bearing US and vertical stripes, a fasces. Around the upper rim THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILIZATION, on the left of the fasces FRANCE ITALY SERBIA JAPAN MONTENEGRO GREECE on the right GREAT BRITAIN BELGIUM BRAZIL PORTUGAL RUMANIA CHINA. At the base six stars. Ribbon - rainbow On the ribbon two clasps - MEUSE-ARGONNE and DEFENSIVE SECTOR.

Single-breasted, six button, straight cut tunic with stand collar and 'epaulettes' decorated with three twisted yellow cords. Collar laced in yellow braid, bearing crowned eagle badges and closing with a pair of hooks and eyes. Two small vents in the rear. Sleeves with false pointed cuffs fitted with Central Band shoulder titles, Chief Tech rank insignia and band badge. Yellow and dark blue aiguillette suspended from left shoulder to top button. Fitted with long service and good conduct ribbon.

Single-breasted, six button, straight cut tunic with stand collar and 'epaulettes' decorated with a single twisted pale blue cords. Collar closing with a pair of hooks and eyes. Pleated breast pockets with flap and button. Press studs at the corner of the flap. Brass hooks let into waist to support belt. Two small vents in the rear. Sleeves with false pointed cuffs fitted with shoulder eagles. Chief tech rank insignia attached to arm by press studs. All buttons and belt hooks removable.

Green combination suit opening from neck to crotch with six buttons all, apart form the top button, are covered by a fly. Fall collar and an integral fabric belt with pinless buckle. Pen pockets on each arm. Flap and button slit openings in the chest for access to under garments. Patch pockets in the front and rear of the waist closing with buttoned flaps. Pleated patch pockets with buttoned flaps on thighs with a smaller knife pocket beside.

A.V.C./M toggle switch, OFF/ON H.T. toggle switch and GAIN switch all fitted in face. Two multi-pin plugs in base and a locating shoe on rear.
