Laminated glass curved at the top and flat at the base sandwiched between two-piece aluminium framework at a slight rear angle and held together with two small bars. The glass has machine gun bullet damage on the inside. Mounted to a display frame with a small plate on the rear inscribed "SUB.LT A.G. BLAKE R.N. 19 SQUADRON".

Detailed scale architect's model of RAF Museum showing the original two hangars, one with sectioned roof, with added on surrounding galleries and original reused outbuildings, with the railway embankment to the east. Includes Hurricane and Wellington models in the sectioned hangar and a Whitley model in the car park with cars passing on Grahame Park Way in front of the site.

Cup, Giesler Challenge

Large, sterling silver, two handled urn with cover/lid of elaborate design with fluted base and acanthus leaf skirt. The handles are supported on winged torches embraced by serpents with a mask above and a ring handle formed by snakes heads. A wreath is found on both sides and one side is engraved ‘Giesler’s Challenge Cup. Presented by Messrs Giesler & Co. for the Advancement of Aviation For Cross Country Race at the London Aerodrome, Hendon’. With ebonizedblack plinth which has silver band giving winner's names 1927 - 1967.

Aircraft & Exhibits, In Storage, 80/U/1878

Tubular carrier made of sheet webbing material flairing to accommodate the handle of the weapon and closing with a single strap fitted with a press stud. A cleaning rod retainer and loops for six rounds are sewn to the front. The barrel tube closed with a fabric cap incorporating a drain hole. A wide vertical strap is fitted to the reverse, forming a tube for a separate buckled leg strap, and ends with a smaller strap for doubling over a webbing belt to be secured by a buckle situated on the wider part.

Standard Pattern 35/R/2170 Single-breasted, six button tunic with a stand collar, the latter trimmed with narrow gold lace around top and front edges and bearing gold wire embroidered eagles with crowns on very dark blue melton patches. Plain sleeves. Two shallow vents at rear. Embroidered Bandsman's badge on both cuffs in gold wire. Threaded post buttons and loops on both shoulders to fasten gold cord shoulder knots and a plain plastic button on the left shoulder to secure the aiguilette. The whole lined in man-made fibre fabric.
