Brown leather pouch of rivetted and sewn construction made of a front panel and a rear panel with a gusset forming the pocket, the rear panel extending as a flap to cover the opening and extend down the front. The flap fitted with pierced leather tab which engages with a brass stud rivetted to the front panel which also carries a strip of six leather loops for separate rounds. The reverse of the rear panel fitted with a pair of narrow belt loops.

D) Studio photograph, bust length in Service Dress and side cap, with moustache. E) Studio photograph, bust length, with re-touched outline as a Corporal and wearing the 1914-1915 medal ribbon. Brown leather coat, the front of double flap construction buttoning with six buttons concealed in a fly on the right side and three on the right shoulder. The collar cut deep at the back and lower at the front with a cross-over flap and two buttons to enable it to be fastened as a standing collar round the neck. Flapped pockets below waist fastening with press studs. Large, diagonal map pocket without flap on chest with opening on right. Sleeves ending with adjustable straps with press stud closure. Lined throughout in camel coloured woollen fabric.

Included is a handrwitten letter, dated, 6 March 1973, explaining the purchase of the postcards and other matters.

Fifteen monochrome negatives and thirteen prints of Handley Page O/400, serial G-EAMC and crew. They include various views of members of the aircraft team, including Maj. H.G. Brackley (pilot), F. Tymms (navigator), Knight (fitter), Banthorpe (rigger) and Maj. C.C. Turner (Daily Telegraph); refuelling the aircraft; the aircraft after crashing at Shereik and locals helping to carry a Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII engine on to a steamer at Wadi Halfa. The prints duplicate thirteen negatives.

In the form of an elaborate cross with a link to a scrooled suspender bar which is duplicated at the top of the ribbon. Obverse - on the arms of a vaguely Maltese cross, fleur-de-lys within a border. Centrally a buffalo's head within a blue enamel strap lettered NEMO MORTALIUM OMNIBUS HORIS SAPIT. The eyes of the buffalo in red stones. Reverse - flat engraved AERO LODGE RISALPUR Presented to BRO. S.G.ELLIS. FOR SERVICES RENDERED 1925 in six lines. Hallmarks and maker's details at the bottom. Ribbon - pale blue with broad maroon edges. With its dark blue fitted case.
