Commemorative medal awarded to Veterans. Bronze of ovoid shape with a double ring suspender. Reverse - the top in the form of a parachute canopy and the remaining space lettered LA VILLE DE LIEGE with a V for Victory below with laurel leaves on either side and 1940 1945 below. Obverse - a soldier's head in left profile wearing an American helmet encircled with a laurel wreath and with Wren's Memorial to the Great Fire of London (?) and the Statue of Liberty in very faint intaglio on either side. The top of the medal formed as the open canopy of a parachute. Ribbon - scarlet and yellow.

An aerial view of a coastline is followed by air to air footage of a formation of Lancaster bombers. A Mosquito FB.VI of 21 Squadron is serviced in a hangar, a Mosquito FB.VI (HJ783) of 464 Squadron is towed along a taxiway and aircrew are seen in a Mosquito’s cockpit. Armourers then prepare to clean a Mosquito’s gun barrels using push-through rods.

Blue grey cotton combination suit opening down the front with six fly covered buttons. Roll step collar with buttoned lapel and integral scarf. Buttoned straps at the ankles and press studded pivot cuffs. Integral fabric belt with pinnless buckle. Soft shoulder straps bearing lace to the rank of Squadron Leader and Gilt 'A' Auxiliary badge. Pleated breast pockets with buttoned flap, side pockets at the hips which also allow access to under garments, pen pockets on left arm and right thigh, open patch pocket on left thigh and large buttoned patch pockets on lower legs. Embroidered 609 Squadron Crest on left breast pocket with pilot's flying badge above.

Blue-grey double breasted Barathea frock coat with stand collar and closing from neck to waist with six pairs of staybrite buttons. Centre rear vent decorated with two pairs of button. Cuffs close with three buttons. Collar badges in the form of RAF within a wreathed, crown embroidered in gold wire on white patches. Soft shoulder straps bearing gold wire embroidered eagles with crowns and narrow gold rank lace to Flight Lieutenant. Two brass hooks let into waist seam to support sword belt. Lined throughout in synthetic fibre fabric, the upper portion quilted. RAF Long Service and Good Conduct medal ribbon on left upper breast.

Padded olive cotton combination suit with flap over closure fastening down the left side with fly covered buttons (two visible) and centrally from neck to crotch with six further buttons. An extension to the flap continues round the back of the neck and is secured to the front by a press stud. Short fur collar. Flap and button patch pockets on upper thighs and a large patch pocket with opening on the right on the centre of the breast. Fabric waist belt with single pin buckle and held with belt loops. Integral fabric straps at the ankles with single pin buckle. Collar slightly detached in the rear.
