Long, brown leather coat, the front of double flap construction buttoning with six buttons concealed in a fly on the right side. The collar cut deep at the back and lower at the front with a cross-over flap and two buttons to enable it to be fastened as a standing collar round the neck. Single large flapped pocket below waist on left side. Large, diagonal map pocket without flap on chest with opening on right. Sleeves ending in buttoned straps. Broad leather waist belt with pin buckle, the holes reinforced with metal eyelets. Lined throughout, in camel coloured woollen fabric with the collar haven been given a fur trim. Small internal breast pocket. The inside of the skirts were fitted with leather straps with press studs to secure round the legs in inclement weather although only one survives.

Single-breasted, light-weight cotton jacket in Disruptive Pattern Material in shades of sand and deep buff. The garment fastens with a zip and six buttons and the turn-over collar is provided with a button - right - and a buttonhole - left - to enable the collar to be fastened round the neck. Two position buttoned tabs on cuffs. Gussetted, flap and button breast pockets. Small button and flap patch pocket on left upper sleeve. Shoulder straps. Embroidered name tag in burgundy on a sand patch in English - DARLING - above left breast pocket and a similar name ? tag in Arabic above right pocket. Small Union flag on left upper sleeve; Combined Services badge - Anchor, Tommy gun and Eagle embroidered in red on a square, dark blue woollen patch - on right upper sleeve. Slip-on rank slides in the rank of Flight Lieutenant on both shoulder straps.
