Green, V shaped, padded canvas webbing yoke with two straps in the front, which pass through loops in the ammo pouches and then return to double buckles on the yoke, and two adjustable buckled straps in the rear which retain webbing tabs with two belt hooks for fitting to the rear of the webbing belt. The back of the Yoke is fitted with a flap secured by a three bar quick release buckle for carrying the issue shovel.
