Varnished square wooden box (missing front cover). The top access panel having three circular vents and hinged with two side vents. There are five circular flat knobs fitted to the front panel, with two pairs of red and black wires fitted into a four pin plug (missing) with aerial and earth terminals. The knobs are marked from left to right, PARALLEL CONDENSER, FILAMENT CURRENT, TUNNING VARIOMETER, WAVE LENGTH and REACTANCE. Two valves inside (one missing).

long, grey, waxed cotton coat with flapped opening closing down the right hand side with five buttons tapering towards the waist. Single button to secure the flap at the neck. A flap from the right shoulder covers the top of the main flap and is secured by a small button. Small tabbed button to close the skirt. Letherette cuffs closing a single button. Fabric belt, secured by two belt loops and closing with two pinless buckles. Two flapped insert pockets in skirt. Wool lining.
