Single-breasted, very pale grey-buff cotton, four button jacket with roll-step collar, two flap and button, pleated breast pockets, two flap and button bellows pockets in skirt and centre rear vent. The lower button shows below the belt. Fabric belt with two prong gilt buckle held in place by belt loops. Detachable soft shoulderboards. False pointed cuffs. Lined in sateened cotton. Staybrite buttons and buckle. Black and pale blue rank lace on shoulderboards to the rank of Air Commodore.

Dark blue cotton roll-up carrier closing with tie tapes. Internally, two button pockets for sewing threads etc, a fixed bundle of white fabric leaves for retaining needles and an open pocket. Pocket contains First Field Dressing and Iodine tablets. Buttoned pockets contain two cards of linen thread, two needles and a selection of buttons (4 black bakelite, 5 bright white metal) and in the other a thimble. Marked in white ink on the outer face 11520 G.L.C.
