Rectangular, brown painted metal case with hinged lid opening to the rear with a four pin socket, magneto signalling key and two terminals fitted inside. Hole for "crank handle" right with two strap loops and lock fitted outside. Missing handset and crank handle.

Large dial measuring 0-130lbs, fitted above two steel rods with a third geared central rod with two hand operated clamps (for holding a sample). The whole is operated by turning a large geared wheel on the right hand side. Mounted to a vertical board.

Rectangular black crackle painted steel body fitted with ten glass and aluminium valves, two condensers and a two-pin plug socket in the top. Three rotating knobs fitted in the right side and five red electrical terminals in the front face. See Historical Notes.
