Single-breasted, four button jacket with roll-step collar, two flap and button, pleated breast pockets, two flap and button bellows pockets in skirt and centre rear vent. Lower button shows below belt. Integral fabric belt with single prong gilt buckle.

Supported on two pairs of laurel leaves, an eagle with outstretched wings with a Queen's crown above. Two fixing lugs on reverse. The whole struck in white alloy anodized in very pale gold. The crown with red velvet inserts; the joint between eagle and crown painted black.

Sealed pattern No. 35/R/1090 Attached to a Standard Pattern board - On a rectangular patch of blue-grey woollen fabric, two eagle facing each other embroidered in pale blue. The centre of the fabric cut most of the way through to divide into two badges.
