Overlaid on a crowned laurel wreath RAF above an eagle above two scrolls bearing POLICE AUXILIARIES. All in white metal. Modified by the removal of the two fixing lugs on reverse and the addition of a vertical sharp pin - part of a safety pin - soldered on.

Wide and thick single edged blade with built in cross guard, two piece wood grip scales fixed by two screw bolts. Lanyard hole machined through the handle. Complete with brown leather sheath with integral belt slot and "lift the dot" fastener.

On a patch of black melton cut to shape, the words ROYAL FLYING CORPS embroidered in off-white arranged in two lines, the upper, first two words, curved, the lower straight. The back reinforced with gummed skrim and the letters embroidered through.

Two pairs of conjoined laurel leaves supporting an eagle with out-streched wings with a King's crown above, all in gilt brass. The arches of the crown filled with crimson velvet and the join between eagle and crown covered with black leather. Two fixing lugs at rear.

Rectangular matt black painted metal case with a 24 VOLT two pin plug, aerial socket, three multi-pin plugs marked, AUX/CONTROLLER/MIC-TEL all fitted in the face above a large cover (with card holder) and a screw adjuster marked MUTING LEVEL underneath. Louvered in the rear with two locating spikes.

Scale hand painted model of open motor boat with full detailing. Three open compartments; forward bench seat for crew, and two aft compartments with slatted seats for passengers. Hull painted black. Flat wooden base with chamfered edge and engraved presentation plaque, supporting two-piece cradle. Complete with storage box.
