Within a voided, horizontal oval bearing QUEEN ALEXANDRA'S 2ND W.W.C. Mtd RIFLES with 2 within a disc on both sides of the oval, a palm tree in a landscape. Below the whole a straight label bearing AKE AKE KIA KAHA. Two fixing lugs on rear.

Brown leather mask edged in velvet and lined in green fabric fitted with a pair of hinged, brass frames enclosing split, glass windows. The opening of the hinge in each frame filled with a strip of black velvet to prevent ingress of dust etc. The frames so sized and arranged that the inner sections allow forward vision whilst the outer ones allow lateral vision and keep out dust. Above and below each frame in line with the hinges is a hole for ventilation. Narrow, adjustable, brown, two-part elastic head band with ring and hook fastener. Condition - excellent.

Narrow, adjustable, black, elastic head band. Condition - very good.
