Small horizontal oval aluminium nameplate. Shows a winged torch set vertically at the centre with a double scroll bearing the inscription Sir W.G Armstrong Whitworth & Co Ltd and a single scroll below bearing Aircraft Works Barlow. Selby; the 'AF' in aircraft and the W in Barlow have been scratched over giving a slightly corroded appearance . Two screw holes, one per side.
