Laser guided 2,000 lb high penetration bomb based around BLU-109 high explosive bomb. Painted dark green overall with blue nose band and white stencilled 'inert bomb' front and rear. Green/brown bodied detachable laser guidance head with perspex nose cone and four fixed fins; at rear of bomb are mounted four spring loaded fins/wings that deploy when the weapon is dropped. There are four brass screw type carrying lug attachments along the top of the main bomb body. Rear mounted standard No.960 Mk.2 fuze.

Combination instrument comprising a pair of headphones mounted on a polished steel support made up of two strips on metal with screw clamps at the ends permitting the headphones to be raised or lowered and a Y shaped Bakelite piece holding a microphone and a speaking horn suspended round the operator's neck by a clip-on cotton tape. The microphone and headphones connected by electrical wiring terminating in a large jack plug.

Flying Gauntlet, RAF, 1943 Pattern

Plain brown leather soft gauntlet with no fasteners at all. Made in 1943 in large sizes for use by Air Gunners particularly when wearing electrically heated gloves. Produced in the same style in the following year and known by that Pattern date, but in smaller sizes for wear with silks and chamois gloves but not heated ones.

Dark brown suede boot to just below knee, lined throughout in sheepskin. Full length zip at front. Tan leather buckled strap round ankle retained by stitching at rear. Shallow rubber galosh foot. Leather pull-on tabs inside.
