Large "Teardrop" shaped 75 gallon seamed steel container with two suspension lugs at top. Severely dented and corroded with remains of light blue paint.

Flying Gauntlet, RAF, 1943 Pattern

Plain brown leather soft gauntlet with no fasteners at all. Made in 1943 in large sizes for use by Air Gunners particularly when wearing electrically heated gloves. Produced in the same style in the following year and known by that Pattern date, but in smaller sizes for wear with silks and chamois gloves but not heated ones.

Circular, silver with scrolled bar suspender. Obverse - Monarch's profile, left side with his/her title round rim. Reverse - A crowned eagle. Round rim FOR LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT Ribbon - dark blue and maroon with white edges. The edge impressed 533018 F. SGT.E.G. REEVES. R.A.F. ERII.

Very large/heavy (re-painted matt green) steel body with two angled viewing lenses, a black rubber shield and a folding telescope at rear. Two large lenses under a peak at the front with a view adjusting knob and carrying handle. Fitted with a (stand) locating shoe underneath.

Rectangular spot welded steel case with a manual 1-5 switch, trimmer knob, lead connector, four threaded locking nuts and a "D" handle all fitted in the face. Six pin plug and two spring loaded spikes in the rear.
