See Historical Notes. Large 14" faced wood cased clock ; RAF crest at centre of the clock face, which has inner ring numbered 13-24 and 1-12 and outer ring numbered in 5 second intervals to show the minute; faded coloured segments "facing inwards" divide the 1-12 hours ring. The clock case has three wall mounting brackets at the rear; the pendulum and weight are detached and stored inside the clock case, accessible by a hinged, latched flap at the rear.The glass covering the clock face hinges outward to permit the hands to be adjusted and is locked by a clip at the side. Sector paint faded and peeling.
