Blue-grey, barathea folding cap with turned up front peak and band, folded and turned up, secured by hooks at sides and fastening with two very small Staybrite buttons at front. On front, left side an eagle and crown in Staybrite metal.

Light alloy plate with spring-loaded locking handle pierced with four circular bushes to provide Oxygen, AVS, Anti-G suit and communications services to the occupant of the ejection seat. Two holes only utilized for oxygen supply and communications. The oxygen supply provided through a rubber corrugated tube with a Bayonet Union Socket Mk. 7A at its upper end for attachment to the oxygen mask. A snap hook is provided to carry the weight of the tube by attachment to a D ring on the flying clothing. The communications lead is clipped to the plate and to the oxygen pipe and terminates in a single pin socket at the upper end and in a six pin plug at the plate end.

Cotton-covered, domed cork helmet with broad brim, pointed at the front and square at the back, having a domed ventilator button in the top. Leather chin strap. The interior fitted with a leather head band. Large pugaree with RAF flash on the left.

Flapped pleated breast pockets with concealed button. Waistband with belt extension to a metal buckle. Buttonholes inside waistband to engage with buttons on waistband of trousers.

Gloss green painted cylindrical shaped body with nose and tail fin assembly (with proximity sensors mounted). Comprises a finned casing containing 147 high explosive Anti Tank (HEAT) bomblets packed in seven sections of 21 rounds each. Three suspension lugs, nose has arming vane and tail assembly is spring? loaded.
